MIETBEDINGUNGEN (AUSZUG)

Dieses Dokument ist eine Zusammenfassung der Bedingungen für die Anmietung unserer Wohnmobile. Eine detaillierte Beschreibung der Geschäftsbedingungen ist in dem Vermietungsvertrag enthalten. Bitte beachten Sie, dass alle Preise auf dieser Website in Neuseeland-Dollar sind. Rates und Bedingungen, die auf unserer Website oder in Broschüren aufgeführt sind, können sich jederzeit und ohne Ankündigung ändern.

ANZAHLUNG

Bei Buchung bzw. Reservierung ist eine Anzahlung in Höhe von NZ$400 zu leisten, die auf den Gesamtpreis angerechnet wird. Der Restbetrag ist 30 Tage vor Mietbeginn fällig, ausser es wurde vorab etwas Abweichendes vereinbart.

ZAHLUNGSBEDINGUNGEN

Der Mietpreis für Campingmobile wird pro angefangenem Kalendertag berechnet. 30 Tage vor Mietbeginn ist der Gesamtpreis an das Reisebüro oder den Veranstalter zu zahlen. Nach Zahlungseingang erhalten Sie einen Gutschein (Voucher), der vor Ort zur Fahrzeugübernahme berechtigt.

UMBUCHUNG / RÜCKTRITT / STORNIERUNG

Bei Buchungen bzw. Rücktritt gelten die Stornobedingungen des Reisebüros bzw. Veranstalters über den Sie gebucht haben. Wenn Sie direkt durch uns gebucht haben gelten folgende Richtlinien:

Bei Stornierung mehr als 21 Tage vor Mietbeginn fällt eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 3% des Gesamtmietpreises an, innerhalb von 7 – 21 Tagen eine Geböhr von 15% des Gesamtreisepreises. Innerhalb von 7 Tagen vor Mietbeginn werden 50% des Gesamtreisepreises als Stornierungsgebühr einbehalten. Bei Nichterscheinen werden 100% des Gesamtmietpreises berechnet.

EINWEGMIETE

Für Einwegmieten von Auckland nach Christchurch oder umgekehrt, werden keine Rückführungsgebühren erhoben. Sie können das Fahrzeug also problemlos und kostenlos von einer zur anderen Insel mitnehmen.

GEBÜHR FÜR ZUSÄTZLICHE(N) FAHRER(IN)

Je zusätzlichem Fahrer bzw. Fahrererin ist eine Gebühr von NZ$50 zu entrichten.

VERSICHERUNG / STRASSENNUTZTUNGSGEBÜHREN

Unsere Raten beinhalten einen Standardversicherungsschutz. Die unten beschriebenen Varianten für Versicherungsschutz, Selbstbeteiligung und Strassengebühren sind möglich und können bei Fahrzeugabholung abgeschlossen werden.

OPTION 1 - VOLLE SELBSTBETEILIGUNG

Wir verlangen eine Kaution in Höhe von NZ$5000.00, dies ist die Selbstbeteiligung der Versicherung und wird lediglich als Kreditkartenbeleg einbehalten - die Kaution wird nur im Schadensfall tatsächlich abgerechnet. Strassennutzungsgebühren werden mit NZ$59.00 je 1000 km berechnet, bzw. mit 6 Cents je Kilometer.

Option 2 - REDUZIERTE SELBSTBETEILIGUNG

Eine Versicherungsoption mit reduzierter Selbstbeteiligung kann für zusätzlich NZ$16 je Tag abgeschlossen werden. Hierdurch reduziert sich die Kaution auf NZ$2500 und wird ebenfalls lediglich als Kreditkartenbeleg einbehalten - die Kaution wird nur im Schadensfall tatsächlich abgerechnet. Strassennutzungsgebühren werden mit NZ$59.00 je 1000 km berechnet, bzw. mit 6 Cents je Kilometer.

OPTION - "NO WORRIES"

Für nur NZ$49 am Tag können Sie eine Vollversicherung abschliessen. Dies reduziert die Kaution auf NZ$250 und wird ebenfalls lediglich als Kreditkartenbeleg einbehalten - die Kaution wird nur im Schadensfall tatsächlich abgerechnet. Strassennutzungsgebühren sind bei unbegrenzten Kilometern enthalten - es fallen keine zusätzlichen km-Gebühren an. Ebenfall enthalten: Campingtisch und -stühle sowie Gas BBQ / Toiletten-Chemikalien und Starter-Pack.

KAUTION

Bei Abholung des Fahrzeugs muss eine Kaution von NZ$350 hinterlegt werden, um eine ordnungsgemässe und pünktliche übergabe in sauberem Zustand sicherzustellen. Für Fahrzeuge, die verschmutzt zurückgegeben werden, wird eine Reinigungsgebühr von NZ$100 von der Kaution einbehalten. Toiletten und Abwassertank müssen bei der Fahrzeugrückgabe geleert sein oder eine Entleerungsgebühr von NZ$150 wird von der Kaution einbehalten. LPG Gasflaschen sind bei der Fahrzeugübergabe voll und müssen wieder voll abgegeben werden oder eine Füllgebühr von NZ$20 je Flasche wird von der Kaution einbehalten. Sämtliche Strafzettel werden ebenfalls von der Kaution einbehalten sowie zusätzlich eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von NZ$150 je Strafzettel. Die Kaution wird ausbezahlt bzw. der Kreditkartenabzug erstattet, falls das Fahrzeug gemäss obigen Bedingungen ordnungsgemäss zurückgegeben wurde.

FÜHRERSCHEIN

Für alle Fahrzeuge ist die Vorlage des normalen nationalen Führerscheins ausreichend. Das Mindestalter für die Fahrer beträgt 21 Jahre. Falls der Führeschein nicht in englischer Sprache ausgestellt ist, muss zusätzlich ein internationaler Führerschein vorgelegt werden.

MIETDAUER

Um die Mietdauer zu berechnen wird der Tag der Wagenübernahme als voller Tag gerechnet - unabhängig davon, wann das Fahrzeug übernommen wird. Der Tag der Fahrzeugabgabe wird als letzter Tag der Miete berechnet. Wenn sich die Mietdauer über verschiedene saisonale Raten erstreckt, wird der Mietpreis entsprechend der jeweilig aktuellen Rate berechnet.

• Minimale Mietdauer ist 7 Tage
• Verspätete Abholung oder frühzeitige Abgabe berechtigen nicht zu einer Rückerstattung der nicht genutzten Miettage.
• Verpätete Rückgabe wird zu den normalen Tagesraten berechnet

ÖFFNUNGSZEITuEN

Auckland: Täglich von 8.00 to 17.00 (Wir haben an Weihnachten und Neujahr geschlossen)

Christchurch: Täglich von 8.00 to 17.00 (Wir haben an Weihnachten und Neujahr geschlossen)

Späteste Fahrzeugrückgabe ist um 16.00 für beide Depots.

Fahrzeugabholung ausserhal bder Öffnungszeiten ist gegebenenfalls bei vorheriger Absprache möglich.

Verspätete Rückgaben werden auf Tagesbasis berechnet.

FAHRZEUGABHOLUNG UND -RÜCKGABE

Bitte kommen Sie zur Fahrzeugübernahme oder -abgabe zu einem der beiden unten beschriebenen Depots.

Taxiservice zwischen dem Flughafen und den Depots ist für ca. NZ$40 verfügbar. Taxistände finden Sie bei beiden Flughäfen ausserhalb der Ankunftsgebäude. Falls Sie aus der Innenstadt zu unseren Depots kommen, ist es am einfachsten lokale Taxis zu verwenden - diese kosten etwa NZ$50.

Abholung und Abgabe der Fahrzeuge ist zwischen 8.00 und 16.00 täglich möglich.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note all prices quoted in this document are in New Zealand dollars. Rates and Conditions quoted in our brochures and/or documentation are subject to change without notice.

BOOKINGS CONFIRMATIONS AND PAYMENT

To confirm a reservation we will be requiring a deposit of NZ$400 per rental, this can be done either by credit card, cash, cheque, or direct debit. Full payment is due 30 days prior to collection of the vehicle, unless prior arrangements have been made.

CANCELLATION FEE

Cancellations received more than 21 days prior to the date reservation will be refunded less a 3% administration fee. Reservations cancelled within the 7-21 day period incur a fee being 15% of rental value. Within 7 days 50% of hire will be charged. No shows 100% of hire will be charged.

CREDIT CARDS

If a credit card is presented as payment, the credit card holder will be jointly and severally liable as a customer. The following credit cards will be accepted: Visa Card, Mastercard, American Express, Diners.

RENTAL DURATION

When calculating the number of days a vehicle is rented, the day of pick-up is counted as day one of the rental, regardless of pick-up time. The day of the vehicle's return is counted as the final day of the rental. When a rental moves from one rate season into the next, the calculation is based on both rates.

• Minimum rental period is 7 days.
• Late pick up or early return of vehicle does not entitle the hirer to any refund of the unused portion of the rental.

ONE-WAY RENTALS

One-way rentals are available between Auckland and Christchurch or vice versa.

EXTRA DRIVER FEES

An extra driver fee of NZ$50.00 per additional driver is required.

BRANCH HOURS

Auckland: Daily from 8.00am to 5.00pm (We are only closed Christmas Day and New Years Day)

Christchurch: Daily from 8.00 to 5.00pm (We are only closed Christmas Day and New Years Day)

Latest vehicle return time for both locations is 4.00pm.

Pick ups after branch hours may be available by prior arrangement.

Late returns will be charged on a per day basis.

COLLECTION AND RETURN OF MOTORHOMES

Please make your way to either our Auckland or Christchurch depots as listed below.

Taxi services between the Airport and our depots at both Auckland and Chritchurch are available for approx. NZ$40.00, Taxi ranks can be found at the front of the arrivals areas at both Auckland and Christchurch Airports. If making your way to one of our depots from the city centres, local taxi services will be the easiest way and will cost approx NZ$50.00, the reception desk at your accomodation property will be able to arrange this for you.

Collection and return times are between 8.00am to 4.00pm daily

INSURANCE EXCESS / ROAD USER CHARGE OPTIONS

Our rates include standard cover insurance, however the below insurance excess options and road user charge options are available to you, and can be decided on vehicle collection.

FULL EXCESS OPTION

We will be requiring a Bond of NZ$5000.00, this is the excess on the insurance and is taken as a credit card imprint only - this is only charged in the event of damage or accident. Road user charges at NZ$59.00 per 1000kms, and 06 cents per km part thereof.

REDUCED EXCESS OPTION

A reduced excess option is also available for an additional NZ$16.00 per day, this will reduce the excess (Bond) to NZ$2500.00, this is also taken as a credit card imprint only - this is only charged in the event of damage or accident. Road user charges at NZ$59.00 per 1000kms, and 06 cents per km part thereof.

NO WORRIES PACK

A full insurance option is also available for an addtional NZ$49.00 per day, this will reduce the excess (Bond) to NZ$250.00, this is also taken as a credit card imprint only - this is only charged in the event of damage or accident. Includes UNLILMITED KMS - no km charges apply. Also included: Camping table and outdoor chairs / Gas BBQ / Toilet Chemical / Starter pack

EXCLUSIONS

1. Personal belongings are not covered. We recommend the hirer does not leave valuables in the vehicle and that they take out personal insurance.
2. All Excess Reduction is void if the terms of the Rental Agreement are breached. The hirer will be responsible for the total cost of any damage. This will also include any damage caused by wilful conduct (e.g. sitting or standing on the bonnet or roof of the vehicle) and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. The Hirer will be responsible for the cost to retrieve or recover a vehicle which has become bogged, regardless of the LDW (Loss and Damage Waiver) being taken.
4. The hirer will be responsible for the cost to replace keys which have become lost, or retrieval of keys which have been locked in a vehicle.
5. Overhead and underbody damage, all damage above the level of the driver cabin and the underbody of the vehicle is the hirers liability for the full cost of repairs.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of NZ$350.00 is required on collection of vehicle to ensure the campervan is returned on the due date complete as taken, and in a clean condition. Vehicle’s returned in an un-clean condition will be charged a NZ$100.00 fee from the security deposit. Toilet and waste water tanks must be emptied on vehicle return or a NZ$150.00 fee will be charged from the security deposit. LPG gas bottles are given full on vehicle collection and are to be returned full or a fee of NZ$20.00 per bottle will be charged to the security deposit. All traffic fines will be charged against the security deposit with a NZ$150.00 handling/representation fee per fine. The security deposit will be cancelled on vehicle return provided the above conditions are met.

LICENCE

A full resident country drivers licence, held for a least one year, is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English format, an international drivers licence is also required.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Drivers must be 21 years of age or over. A medical certificate stating that the customer is fit to drive the vehicle they have booked for the duration of the hire is required for drivers over the age of 75.

LIVING EQUIPMENT

The Living Equipment (crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, linen, sleeping bags, pillows and towels) for all Motorhomes is included in the daily rental rate at no extra cost.

Charges for additional hire equipment (tables, chairs, umbrellas, baby seats) will be charged per vehicle rented. (See rates below).

CHANGE OF DROP OFF DESTINATION

If the hirer wishes to change the drop off destination after the rental has commenced, they must first obtain authorisation from the Reservations Centre in Auckland. Subject to the change being approved, an additional charge of NZ$150 will apply.

RENTAL EXTENSION

If the hirer wishes to extend the rental whilst on hire, they must first obtain authorisation from the Reservations Centre in Auckland. This is subject to availability. The extra cost of an extended rental must be paid by credit card over the telephone on confirmation of the rental extension.

Failure to obtain authorisation will result in a fee of NZ$500 in addition to the daily rate. Adventure Vans allows a grace period of 24 hours before the hirer is liable for the late return fee.

ROAD RESTRICTIONS

Motorhomes can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well-maintained roads. No vehicle shall be driven on Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Ball Hut Road (Mt. Cook) and North of Colville Township (Coromandel Peninsula).

Adventure Vans reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions.

Hirer's Liability

Overhead and underbody damage: all damage above the drivers cabin and the underbody of the vehicle is the hirers liability for the full costs of repairs.

ON-ROAD ASSISTANCE (7AM to 8PM)

Any problems associated with the vehicle, including equipment failure, must be reported to Adventure Vans as soon as possible, and within 24 hours in order to give Adventure Vans the opportunity to rectify the problem during the rental. Failure to do so will compromise any claims for compensation. We do not accept liability for any claims submitted after this period.

REPAIRS

Repairs up to $100 may be effected without authorisation and will be reimbursed. For amounts over $100, Adventure Vans will need to be informed in advance. Repairs will be approved provided the hirer was not directly responsible for the damage. Receipts must be submitted for any repair or the claim will not be paid.

CHANGE OF VEHICLE

Should the vehicle booked be unavailable through unforeseen circumstances, Adventure Vans reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle without prior notification and at no extra cost. This shall not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the hirer to a refund.

VOLUNTARY DOWNGRADE

Should the hirer decide to take a smaller vehicle than booked they will not be entitled to any refund.

IMPORTANT

Adventure Vans reserves the right to refuse any rental at its discretion.

ANIMALS

No animals are permitted in our vehicles.

PERSONAL AND COMPANY CHEQUES

Personal and Company cheques will not be accepted as payment for rentals at the time of pick-up. These must be paid to Adventure Vans 14 days prior to commencement of rentals. Personal or Company cheques are not acceptable as the vehicle security deposit.

DISCLAIMER

Illustrations and text in any of our brochures or website are a representation only of the vehicle depicted. Variances in the vehicles offered for rental may occur due to substitutions made by Adventure Vans or modifications and/or upgrades to the vehicle design made by the manufacturer
